Cathryn Ensign has concentrated her law practice in the areas of employment law, workers’ compensation and litigation for 27 years.  In her practice, she represents employers, public and private; small and large with litigation, workers’ compensation and employment related issues.  Cathryn is an experienced litigator appearing in both state and federal court in discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination and retaliation claims.  Cathryn also appears before administrative agencies on claims relating to workers’ compensation and unemployment compensation. Ms. Ensign has considerable experience with the defense of safety violations (VSSR) claims and intentional tort actions.

Cathryn Ensign Law regularly counsels clients on personnel and employment matters including issues relating to hiring, discipline, drug testing, and attendance.  Ms. Ensign is a respected practitioner in matters relating to Americans with Disability Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment (ADEA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and safety compliance under Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA).  Ms. Ensign defends charges and claims before U.S. Equal Employment Rights Commission (EEOC) and Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC).
